Hardware I use daily, and things I recommend.
As someone who juggles security labs, coding projects, and portfolio updates all in one day, I care about performance and reliability over hype. These are the machines and tools that power my daily workflow — whether I’m running VMs, or just tweaking configs at midnight. Note: I’m not listing software here — it changes with every project. But this hardware? It stays constant.
Workstation
14” ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023)
AMD Ryzen, RTX 4060 GPU, and a stunning RGB keyboard. Lightweight, powerful, and runs everything from virtual labs to GPU-powered scans with ease. Also I have upgraded the RAM and SSD to 32GB and 2TB respectively for optimal performance.
Lenovo IdeaPad S340
An older build with an MX250 GPU. I use this one for Linux testing, recovery workflows, and tool experimentation. it’s a great backup for when I need to run something that might not play well with my main machine.
Acer ED273 S3 – 27” Curved Gaming Monitor
Curved, smooth, and built for long hours. Perfect for side-by-side views of terminals, dashboards, and debug sessions. best suited for scrolling through logs and code without straining my eyes.
AJAZZ 75% Mechanical Keyboard (RGB)
Compact, clicky, and the RGB lighting just makes writing scripts more fun. Great tactile feedback without the bulk. Since I often accidentally press the trackpad while typing on the laptop, I prefer using an external keyboard when working at my desk setup with the monitor.
Logitech MX Master 3S Mouse
Ergonomic, precise, and wireless. Ideal for long hours and fine control — especially for people with larger hands like mine.
